Christians for a Free Palestine (CFP) is “an ecumenical, grassroots, nonviolent, and volunteer-led movement dedicated to mobilizing Christians across the U.S. to take action in solidarity with Palestinians. Collectively, we seek to end the genocide in Gaza and ensure a long-lasting, just, and sustainable peace for Palestinians and Israelis.” CFP requested a grant to support its structure as a growing grassroots organization by helping fund staff and future actions. PJN members and friends were in on the very beginning conversations that ended up taking the shape of CFP. This grant makes it possible for CFP to reach a larger audience and encourage more Christians to speak out and join the larger movement for justice. You can join their grassroots movement here.

Launched in 2002, the JAI Olive Tree Campaign distributes olive saplings among farmers, sponsored by individuals, YMCAs, YWCAs, churches, church related organizations, human rights organizations, as well as solidarity and advocacy groups around the world, as an act of solidarity and support to help 'Keep Hope Alive'. The farmers supported are these who suffer from the various Israeli policies that put their land and property under the threat of confiscation, and the sponsored olive trees get planted in the occupied West Bank and Gaza Strip areas where olive trees have been uprooted and destroyed by the Israelis, or where fields are threatened to be confiscated by the Israeli military Occupation, or where parts of the Israeli apartheid wall and settlements are constructed on part of the land.

The Healing Through Art and Expression: A Safe Space Initiative for Palestinian Youth in Birzeit offers weekly art therapy, music therapy, and breath work sessions over six months, each addressing essential human needs for emotional healing and resilience. These activities will provide a critical space for young men and women, particularly those facing the ongoing trauma of military occupation, systemic oppression, and daily humiliation. By reducing stigma around mental health, especially for men, the project addresses a key cultural gap in emotional expression and support. It will equip participants with tools to process their experiences, build resilience, and foster mutual understanding within their community. In a context of overwhelming hardship, this initiative offers hope, dignity, and the means to rebuild emotional strength, positively impacting both individuals and the broader Palestinian society.

Wi'am is a grassroots civil society organization rooted in Bethlehem, dedicated to transforming conflict and fostering reconciliation through the fusion of traditional Arab mediation practices (Sulha) and modern conflict resolution techniques. Our mission is to cultivate a culture of justice, dignity, and peace by addressing systemic injustices, empowering marginalized communities—including women, youth, and families—and nurturing cordial relationships ("Wi'am" in Arabic) within and beyond Palestinian society. We stand for nonviolence, equity, and dialogue, striving to heal the psychological, social, and political wounds inflicted by prolonged occupation while building a pluralistic civil society grounded in democratic values and human rights. This grant will go towards supporting their project entitled Bridging Hearts, Building Peace: A Peer Mediation Initiative for Palestinian Students
